Interview: Staying Sane, Healthy, and Professional

By Suzanne Holman • May 23rd, 2009

Thursday I was interviewed by Viki Kind on her BlogTalk Radio Show.
Viki is a personal healthcare strategist and a medical ethicist.

She has lectured across America teaching healthcare professionals to have integrity, compassion and to improve end-of-life care. She created a nationally distributed program, “Improving the Geriatric Patient’s Medical Experience” video.

In our interview we talked about the difficult transition that adult children have when they are faced with the reality that their parent has Alzheimer’s Disease.

We discussed ways that make the transition less difficult and how getting support both personally and professionally can make a huge difference in keeping up with multiple responsibilities.
