Is Clutter Blocking Your Business Success | Technology Can Help
GUEST POST from Cynthia Charleen
Technology does not have to be complicated and can help control the clutter that is a barrier to your business success.
Do you ever write down information such as telephone numbers or notes about a task that you need to do? I know I have and it often causes frustration and chaos when I dot. Do you have a smartphone? If so, put it to work tracking your to do list and set up reminders so you do not forget important appointments. Google and Gmail offer simple ways to track your schedule with an online calendar.
Do you spend time travelling to locations for meetings? Meeting online can be a time and money saver. It does not replace personal contact with clients, but I have found it an option that is often overlooked.
Have you overlooked something as simple as a timer? In getting tasks completed, I have found setting a timer helps me stick to the project at hand as I commit to doing just the one thing until time is over.
It is sometimes the simple things that can start you on the track to success. Don’t overlook technology as one of the tools you can use to your advantage.

Choose To Work In a Way That Gives You the Freedom to Care for Family Members
GUEST POST from Connie Ragen Green
My mother had me when she was 37, and that was quite uncommon during the 1950’s. Now I am in my fifties and she is almost 93, so that means that our roles have reversed and I am now doing much of the care giving for her. Last year she broke her hip, and can no longer get around as she used to before she fell.
Fortunately, I have been working at home since 2006. This means that my business in exclusively on the Internet, and that I can make my own hours to fit my schedule. I am able to get up around 6 in the morning, work at my computer for two or three hours, and then drive to the rehabilitation facility where she has been living for the past six months. We usually have lunch together, and I can spend several hours with her. I do check my email from my phone a couple of times, but I do not need to worry about getting back to work or having a problem with my boss. I am the boss.
Most people do not have this time luxury. They are working long hours, far away from home, and are then too exhausted to do much more than make dinner and turn on the television when they come home. I know all about this because I did the same thing for more than twenty years, working as a classroom teacher and a real estate appraiser for 12 to 14 hours each day, six or seven days each week. If my mother had needed my help during that time in the way she now does, I’m not sure what I would have done.
You do have a choice. If you have elderly parents or young children that must be cared for, think seriously about working from home, or from anywhere there is an Internet connection. You can never get back the time you have with your loved ones, so make this the best time in your life by being able to choose how you spend each day.
Connie Ragen Green teaches new entrepreneurs how to get started with an online business to have the time and financial freedom to live the live they choose. Find out more by visiting her blog at http://ConnieGreen.com.
Using Technology to Make Life Simpler
Have you sworn at technology yet today?
When things are not working as we'd like, it's easy to curse all of these innovations…
But wait!
Where would we be without the many technological advances we enjoy
today? I look around my home and am amazed at what we have at our disposal today.
Think of how connected we now can be with family – all over the world – for free or a small fee. I remember the days when it was a really big deal just to make a long distance call within the United States.
There is so much more than connection that we can do with technology.
I've had some requests asking me to share some of my technical expertise with members of my community.
I actually taught technology for a number of years along with my years of teaching college-level psychology.
I'd love to talk with you about some possibilities that you may not have explored or may not even have heard of.
Or that you'd like to understand better…
Come join me on The Ageless Teleseminar Program this week and bring
all your questions about technology and the internet. I'll do my best to answer those questions and will find out the answer if I don't know it.
As always, there is no charge for this Wednesday program.
We gather at 3 pm Pacific time/ 6 pm Eastern time.

Laughter Yoga
When was the last time you laughed boisterously?
As children it was a frequent event..
Pre-school children laugh or smile 300-400 times a day. You can see it in their faces even when nothing special is happening. The reality for adults is that number drops to only 15 times a day by the time you reach age 35.
Friday was Laughter Yoga Class at Lighthouse Giftshop in Phoenix …
I go most Fridays after doing an aqua aerobics class and Hatha Yoga class.
By the time I finish the Laughter Yoga class, I feel as though I have worked every part of me…inside and out…physically and emotionally.
Norma Richardson is the certified instructor – her laughter and energy is contagious!
Laughter Yoga Clubs were started by Indian physician, Dr. Madan Kataria in 1995 with just five people. Today, the Laughter Movement is widely accepted and has become a global phenomenon with over 6000 clubs in 60 countries.
Realizing the tremendous power of laughter and its efficacy as the best prescription for wellness, Laughter Clubs have brought smiles and laughter in the lives of many people suffering from physical and mental and emotional upsets.
There’s now scientific proof that laughter is contagious, so all you need is to start laughing. Laughter Yoga is a unique and proven method that helps release physical, mental and emotional stress. Laughter Yoga is a unique concept of unconditional laughter, according to this, anyone can Laugh for No Reason. It does not rely on jokes, humor or comedy. It initiates laughter as a form of an exercise in a group, and as the laughter sessions progress; laughter becomes real and contagious.
When you are going through a time that is heavy on your mind, your heart, and your body, try doing something like Laughter Yoga to loosen up your body, warm your heart, and lighten your mind with a different perspective.
Norma takes Laughter Yoga to care centers where she sometimes is leading Alzheimer's patients who are no longer verbal. Laughter is universal and can still be enjoyed when much of life and memory is gone.
Contact Norma at norma@thebodyknowsbest.com to schedule a laughter yoga session to enjoy the benefits of laughing for no reason.

If you no longer know how to laugh, join a laughter yoga group near you. If you live in the Phoenix area, go to www.meetup.com/Valley-of-the-Sun-Laughter to learn how to laugh for no reason. If you live somewhere else in the world, go to http://www.laughteryoga.org/ to find a club near you.
Feeding Your Brain to Avoid Alzheimer’s
Do you feel as though you just don't have time to prepare healthy meals?
Do you think that it is too expensive to eat the most nutritious food?
Thursday I have the pleasure of being the featured guest for the National Association of Boomer Business Women.
I'll be sharing ways to feed your brain to avoid Alzheimer's Disease. New statistics out from the Alzheimer's Association are alarming. An estimated 5.3 million Americans of all ages have Alzheimer's Disease. That is one out of every eight people aged 65 and older (13 percent) have Alzheimer's disease. Every 70 seconds, someone in America develops Alzheimer's.
Alzheimer's disease is not a normal part of growing older. We can do quite a lot for the health of our brain and feeding it premium fuel is a huge factor in keeping it healthy.
